摘要：It is intended to improve the radial expansion capability of known carriers for
catalytic reactors which are wound from metal strips. Attempts have been made to avoidthe difficulties involved in mounting the carrier in a jacket sleeve by costly carrierproduction methods. As a consequence of the invention it is proposed that a plurality ofmetal strips (1,2) be wound simultaneously, spirally to form a carrier, so that a plurality offree strip ends (1b, 2b) are produced on the circumference of the complete carrier. Thispermits a secure connection which is elastic even in the case of thermal expansions.
